This project is a Keurig cup packaging system for the coffee company Horsepower. Horsepower is a coffee company that adds extra caffeine into its coffee “for an extra kick” in the morning. The focus for this project was to create a fake company that uses a Keurig cup packaging system and create a logo, Keurig box design, and a k-cup design all within 1 week. The deadline for this project was exactly 1 week after it was assigned to help us understand that we had the capability of producing high quality work in a short amount of time. The main system design for Horsepower is the orange “original roast” system, but I designed other potential flavors systems for Horsepower represented by the red and green systems for the medium and dark roasts. The logo and artwork were designed in Adobe Illustrator and the images in the background were edited in Adobe Photoshop. The original size of the logo is 5.5 x 5.5’’, the box design is 5.625 x 5.5’’, and the k-cup is 2’’.
